Provide services that consist of a medically-approved recreational program to restore, remediate, or rehabilitate an individual to improve functioning and independence, and reduce or eliminate the effect of an individual’s disability. You will be an integral part of client’s support team including case managers, behavior consultants, guardians, and direct support professionals. You will be responsible for assessing each client, developing treatment plans, meeting with clients on a regular basis, and addressing goals from their individualized support plans. One-on-one treatment may be provided in individuals’ homes, corporate office, or in the community as appropriate.
- Certified by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy
- Valid Driver’s License; auto insurance coverage
- Proficient in the execution of Behavior Support Plans, Individual Support Plans and High Risk Plans
